Guidelines of InterPlay International Institute for Humanistic Psychotherapy with Children

Basic attitude: Tolerance and respect will be strengthened primarily through dialogue

InterPlay International has two main missions:

1. To heal children through play

For this purpose, child psychotherapists are trained at the institute. In long term trainings, seminars, and workshops, disorder-specific interventions are trained together in groups and individual settings to treat children. The method of child psychodrama is to be spread to other countries and institutes.

2. To conduct trainings and seminars in international groups

Diversity, equality and intercultural encounters shall enable understanding and empathy. To promote tolerance in socially relevant projects through intercultural exchange and learning together.

The Institute intends that all projects and seminars include research.

We share with our students and colleagues the same commons values; freedom, equality, and international solidarity that we want to achieve.
