Introduction to Psychodrama with Children Training
We were very happy to announce that an “Introduction to Psychodrama with Children” training seminar will be held in Varna, Bulgaria between the 3rd and 5th of October, 2025.
Goals of the Training
The seminar introduces the main principles of symbolic play with children through theory and practice. It will include examples of specific psychodramatic interventions suitable both for groups and individual sessions.
Participants will learn to recognize the basic needs of children and to implement basic interventions to satisfy them. They will have the opportunity to go into the roles of children and to gain insight into their own childhood, not only in a safe and fun way, but also in a way that is professionally enriching.
Who is this training suitable for?
Professionals, who work with children in an educational or therapeutic setting, as well as psychotherapists for children and adolescents, doctors, psychologists, mental health specialists, social workers, teachers, and pedagogues.
Trainers
Milena Mutafchieva
PhD of Developmental Psychology, Associate Professor in Cognitive Science and Psychology Department in New Bulgarian University, Sofia. Founder of Center for Child Development and Psychological Consulting “Cognitiva”, Sofia, Bulgaria.
Denitsa Petrova
Master's in Clinical Social work. She is a Jungian psychodramatist, as well as a child psychodramatist. She has worked in many projects as a supervisor aimed to reduce poverty and enhance social inclusion, as well as taken part in numerous international psychodrama seminars.
